I am wondering in this busy season, although I have booked a slot for 4 pm on Wednesday for louvre how early do I need to be there and once I am there do I stand in a line or go straight up to the security? The Smart Louvre Kit brings you the must-see at the Louvre in two hours, a limited list of top things to see at the Louvre that you can visit in 2 hours or less. The list is presented on a beautiful table that you can download on your mobile phone or print out prior to your visit.
Home>Plan your visit>Hours, Admission & Directions>Free admission to the Musée du Louvre

In line with the measures taken by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19,the Musée du Louvre and Musée National Eugène Delacroix are closed until further notice.
All those who have purchased a ticket for this period will automatically receive a refund—no action is required.
Thank you for your understanding.
The Tuileries and Carrousel gardens remain open.
I’m hoping to visit the Louvre on a Monday in early March. The plan was to buy a museum pass on Sunday when we arrive in Paris. But will that be soon enough to book an online time for the Louvre the next day?
It appears reserving the Louvre slot requires providing the Paris museum pass document number.
Is buying it one day before going to work or ought I buy it online ? Is there a mobile version or do I really have to travel to the Paris Tourist office on Sunday to pick it up? (I imagine that office may be closed on a Sunday)
Thanks for any advice.
